Konami Signs Publishing Deals With Random House, Panini Group for Yu-Gi-Oh! Books

Konami Cross Media NY, Inc. announced on Tuesday that it has signed publishing deals with Random House Children's Books and Panini Group for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. The former will release titles in the U.S. and Canada, including various territories and military bases. The latter will publish titles in Europe, Central America, and South America, starting with France and French speaking territories in Belgium before expanding into Latin America. Both will begin with publishing children's sticker books.

Konami previously partnered with Landoll Publishing for coloring books, storybooks, and acitivity books for the franchise, as well as with Carlsen Publishing's Nelson Publishing imprint for a German language edition of The Official Yu-Gi-Oh! Guidebook.

The latest anime in the franchise is Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!!, the eighth main anime series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. The anime premiered in April 2022, and entered its third year of airing in April 2024. The anime ended on March 30.

Kazuki Takahashi's Yu-Gi-Oh! manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1996 to 2004. The manga launched an international hit franchise that continues to this day with card games, anime, toys, and newer manga series.
