A re-imagining of one of the greatest classics of anime!

“Evangelion” television series took the anime world by storm in the mid-1990's, proving to be a surprise sensation for Studio Gainax and setting new standards for the mecha anime genre. Rebuild of Evangelion stays true to the spirit of the original, exploring all the same controversial philosophical and psychological themes that gave the series its depth and brought the fans back to watch it again and again. Additionally, Rebuild of Evangelion is being directed by the original creator of the series, Hideaki Anno.

EVANGELION: 1.0 YOU ARE (NOT) ALONE closely follows the story of the original series, ensuring that fans of the original will fall in love with Evangelion all over again, while also exhibiting all new high-quality animation and promising a unique alternate ending, so that no matter how many times you've watched the original series there will be plenty of new material for fans to enjoy.

Evangelion is an apocalyptic mecha anime in which a group of teenage mecha pilots working for the international organization NERV must learn to do battle in giant armored mecha known as Evangelions to protect Neo-Tokyo from the threat of the invading alien Angels.
