Anime-zing! Announces LittleKuriboh and 2013 Dates

Davenport, Iowa - November 23, 2013 - Iowa's anime convention, Anime-zing!, is excited to announce that their next convention will be held May 3-5, 2013 at the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Davenport, Iowa. Anime-zing! is also excited to announce the first guest for the convention will be LittleKuriboh, creator of the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series.

Martin Billany, more well known as LittleKuriboh, is the creator of Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Abridged series and the godfather of the abridged age. He has thus far produced no less than 52 episodes, a spinoff, a prequel, a christmas special and two movies, creating a cultural phenomenon in the anime world. In addition to playing nearly every character in his own series, he has made cameos in the Death Note, Naruto, Sonic X, Trinity Blood, Pokemon, Fullmetal Alchemist and Sailor Moon abridged series. With a mission to revitalize interest in the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise and make it more accessible to Joe Public, LittleKuriboh will continue the original abridged series providing us with priceless entertainment for many years to come. All-round nice guy and community fan-favourite, he is also associated with TeamFourStar (the group behind Dragon Ball Z Abridged, for which he also supplies voices) and has made guest appearances on comic-book video review series Atop the Fourth Wall.

Anime-zing! returns to the Clarion Hotel & Convention Center in 2013 after its best year ever in 2012, with over 700 people attending. Anime-zing! is determined to make 2013 the biggest convention ever, with new prices on hotel rooms and convention registrations. Fans can get rooms for just $79 per night at the convention hotel, and can register online for only $27 through January 20th, 2013.

Anime-zing! 2013 will bring together almost 1,000 fans to participate in cosplay contests, dealer and artist shopping, a formal ball, rave dances, guest Q&A sessions, concerts, meetups, and beyond.
