ShadoCon 2013

ShadoCon 2013 is fast approaching – October 4-6, 2013! ShadoCon is a local video games, comic books, and Japanese animation convention that started in Tampa in 2010. It has grown swiftly since its beginnings, and now expects around 4000 people at its 2013 event. It has a huge dealer's room, many interesting panels, and shows designed to wow and amaze – not to mention the spectacular costumes that people will be wearing all around the con.

The three main shows at the con are as follows:
-The Breakdance Breakdown: This is a breakdance comedy show filled with epic music and incredible dancing, as well as comedy.
-The Shado Tournament: This is a tournament-style fight show using live steel and martial arts. Our performers are highly proficient in stage combat, and the show promises to amaze.
-The Final Fantasy Ball: This is an interactive stage show as well as a formal dance, where the characters of the Final Fantasy series interact with the audience and put on a show designed to make you laugh, cry, and fall in love all over again.

ShadoCon will also be hosting several gaming tournaments, with the chance to win a major cash prize at the end! The three tournaments will be Super Smash Bros. Melee, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, and Street Fighter 4: 2013 Edition.

Some of the industry's most popular guests will also be in attendance - Dante Basco, best known for his role as Rufio in the hit film “Hook”, as well as many popular anime series; Sean Schemmel, the voice of GOKU from DRAGONBALL Z as well as many others; Bryce Papenbrook, the voice of KIRITO from SWORD ART ONLINE and others; Cherami Leigh, the voice of ASUNA from SWORD ART ONLINE, LUCY from FAIRY TAIL, and many others; Kyle Hebert, the voice of RYU from STREET FIGHTER and many other series; as well as a variety of multimedia and internet guests.
