Seven Seas Licenses Sarazanmai: Reo and Mabu Manga
(LOS ANGELES, October 23, 2019) – Seven Seas Entertainment is delighted to announce the license acquisition of the self-contained manga Sarazanmai: Reo and Mabu by Kunihiko Ikuhara and Misaki Saitoh, a hilarious spin-off to the hit anime by the director of Revolutionary Girl Utena and Sailor Moon!
Reo and Mabu, supernatural cops and agents of a certain empire, are surprised to find a baby lying on a plate in the street! They take her in as they search for her parents, but their bizarre lives keep leading them in wild directions. Strangely, this baby--whom they name Sara--seems to have supernatural powers as well...and these two men are starting to love her as if she were their own.
Seven Seas will publish the manga Sarazanmai: Reo and Mabu for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in a single volume edition. The book will be released on May 12, 2020 for $12.99 USA / $16.99 CAN.
