Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is Out Now for PS5, Switch, and Steam

Released alongside the new launch trailer, the Nintendo Switch 2 Upgrade Pack is now available for $1.

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. — September 19, 2025 — It's time to take flight into the new 1st Chapter! GungHo Online Entertainment America is proud to announce that Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is now available on PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch™ (physical and digital), Nintendo Switch™ 2 (digital), and Steam® (digital).

Players curious about the game can download a free prologue demo from the PlayStation™Store, Steam®, or the Nintendo eShop, joining Estelle and Joshua as they take their first steps on their journey. Progress made in the demo will also carry over if the player has purchased the full game.

A Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition will be available at launch. Players who purchase the Nintendo Switch™ version of the game can also upgrade to the Nintendo Switch™ 2 Edition by purchasing a $1 Upgrade Pack. The enhancements include higher resolution and smoother frame rates.

The Standard Editions of the game can be purchased at major North American retailers and through Clear River Games for European residents.
