Anime Festival Asia Indonesia to Host fripSide as Musical Guest

Anime Festival Asia announced on Thursday that Japanese pop duo fripSide will join the convention's musical guest lineup for its Jakarta, Indonesia event. fripSide will perform in the event's "I Love Anisong" concert on September 25-27.
Previously announced musical guests for Anime Festival Asia, Indonesia include:
- FLOW (Eureka Seven, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, The Seven Deadly Sins)
- GARNiDELiA (Kill la Kill, The irregular at magic high school, Gundam: Reconguista in G)
- DJ Kazu
- lisa (Angel Beats!, Fate/Zero, Sword Art Online)
- motsu (Shakugan no Shana III (Final), Asobotto Senki Gokū) x DJ Kaya
- nano (Btooom!, Arpeggio of Blue Steel, M3 the dark metal)
- Nagi Yanagi (Bakemonogatari, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, A Lull in the Sea)
Musicians Satoshi Yaginuma and nao formed fripSide in 2002. nao left the group in 2009, and Yoshino Nanjō joined it in the same year. The duo has performed songs for such anime as A Certain Scientific Railgun, Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earth, and Black Bullet, and have also performed theme songs for many visual novels (when nao was still the vocalist). The group released their latest single CD, "Luminize," on May 20. The single features the songs "Luminize" (Future Card Buddyfight 100 opening theme), and "unlimited destiny" (Chōginga Senkan theme).
Anime Festival Asia has held an event in Jakarta, Indonesia every year since 2012. Anime Festival Asia ran last year's event in Indonesia from August 15 to 17.
The Anime Festival Asia convention also held an event in Bangkok, Thailand from April 30 to May 3, and it will hold its main convention in Singapore from November 27-29.
