| Cowboy Bebop (TV) | Masterpiece | Great music, fluid animation, kick-ass characters, cool stories, space travel, and Steve Blum. What ISN'T to like about one of the most stylish and hip anime ever? |

| Flame of Recca (TV) | Decent | A decent shonen show with lots of magical powers and acceptable animation. Starts to drag a bit during the latter half (which is almost all tournament fighting). Still better than some shonen today. |

| Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) | Masterpiece | One of the most thought-provoking, moving, controversial, beautiful, well-written, genre-defying series of all time. What more needs to be said? |
| Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (movie) | Not really good | Unfortunately, this movie was completely unnecessary because all it did was recap the TV series in Cliff Notes-style and threw a half-hour teaser for the REAL movie in at the end. They should have just went straight to releasing EoE and skipped this. |
| Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie) | Masterpiece | The bizarre and totally fitting conclusion to an epic anime saga. Just don't forget your antidepressants. |

| RahXephon (TV) | Masterpiece | Wow. Just wow. A series that matches -- and in several ways exceeds -- the expectations placed upon the cerebral mecha genre by Evangelion. It's a love story, a mecha series, and a mind-bending melodrama all in one, masterfully executed, intelligently plotted, and satisfying all the way to the end. If you've seen Evangelion, then you MUST see this as well. |
