Do they still produce these toys, I wonder? I remember those toys as a kid. Pico bought new ones, and this story takes place a few years in the future. It's really fun to see all the places they put the detail in the animation though. |

Hahaha, Pico was reading one of those bogus 'sex tips' magazines. Apparantly those are still around in 2026, unfortunately.
Also, as a US citizen, I must say the depiction of united states architecture, objects, etc. is very well done in this episode. My region is pretty different than Texas, and I've never actually been to Texas, but it seems pretty genuine, and a lot of things do seem very familiar. Oddly enough, however, Vince's car's liscence plate was the wrong size for a US plate. It looked more like a european plate. In Japan the plates are very close to the size of our plates here in the US, so it wasn't them just assuming Japanese size. It wasn't a foreign plate, since it said Texas on it, and I doubt we'll have changed our plate dimensions by 2026. It's so minor it didn't bother me at all, but I just thought it was funny. |

I've read the manga so I know what happens. I just personally thought it was a needless spoiler that came out of nowhere since no one was touching on the topic, nor was anyone speculating about it. The anime hasn't really touched on it yet either. Thank you for editing the post though. |

Try to keep topics on anime only storyline and progression. If its gonna happen in the anime, hold it in until it actually happens in the anime and then you can discuss it. Its great your excited about "X" but keep it to yourself until its appropriate or take it to the manga forums or PMs. Although I am curious, is this filler right now? Or is the testing stuff happening in the manga too? I heard someone say they were still in the desert with the manga. |
