Now that's a K-On! show I'd actually watch. : Rolling Eyes

Poor K-ON! otaku. Now they'll have to spend twice as much. Laughing
I like the college idea though. Can't wait to see older Mio. Now just need to get over the second season.

No. They'll become teachers at the same school... then they'll have daughters who look almost identical, so the manga will breach into 3 parts this time... and the milking continues!

Why they would want to continue this garbage series is beyond me.

Best news of the year!

Same all girl high school? Check!

New All female University? Check!

Early look at older cast? Super Check! (edit: already in article)

Haters still posting at every mention of K-ON? a sad check... also, please die.

Maybe I'm wrong on this, but I didn't think all of the girls were going to the same college. I'm presuming the "college girls" K-On! manga will focus on them getting together in their off hours.

Actually yes, they all go off to the same women's college at the (as it turns out, not really) end of the series.

Why won't you grow the hell up and realize that other people can have different tastes than yourself? It's not a bad thing.

The weird thing is with the series being such a hit I could see them doing something similar to that... and I'd certainly buy it, too. Laughing

Actually, that kind of reminds me of Hanamaru Kindergarten in which you have the lead guy who has become a teacher at his old school and ends up teaching the daughter of the girl he used to be interested in.

Here's hoping the girls will do the standard 'experimenting' girls do in college Twisted Evil Tsumugi seems like she would...

8D This just made me piss myself. K-ON! continued? That's enough for me to continue watching anime altogether. I'd love to see these girls during the college years. After what i've seen comparing the manga to the anime, the manga is way better when it comes to focusing on something about music, and it's variety of comedy. I'm gonna love this.

Also, I couldn't care less about Azusa so i'm good checking out one of these mags.

BTW I expect Mugi to come out of the closet and Ritsu to get hooked on drugs and cocaine.

Well technically they already have the high school one licensed, if it's just being continued, right? I hope (and assume) that they'll pick up the college one.

As far as I know there are no all-girls colleges

There are quite a few in the US. Scripps came to mind and prompted my search.

EDIT: Fun fact. Not to be left out, there are a precious few all male schools in the US too.
