I will have a bit of My-Otome on BD if they want to release it as such. Otherwise, nothing of interest here.

My only complaint is... Eureka 7, Eureka 7, where art thou? I'd like to buy that before I get AO.

Bones stuff still is missing. Waiting for Wolf's Rain too. I hope FUNi manages to get them both.

Fully excited for Bebop BDs. Although they aren't perfect, they're such a step of from Bandai's DVD release. Hope Outlaw Star sees BDs too.

Agreed, I hope Funi gets them too, can't wait for both of those shows myself, I was expecting Eureka Seven especially with the first AO set about to release so hopefully the Bones stuff Bandai had is up next since there's a bunch of good ones, also the sooner they announce it the sooner they can do that E7 Blu-ray, which I will buy instantly.

YES!!! Finally it's on it's way! Can't wait for Bebop on BD! As said already, I hope they give it the same deluxe treatment Lain got since it's one of the biggest shows around and pretty much guaranteed to sell like crazy.

Would totally double dip on Outlaw Star for a decent BD upgrade and I really hope a BD remaster is in the works for the gorgeous Wolf's Rain.

I'm pretty sure I'd double dip on a lot of these Bandai shows I loved if they got decent BD upgrades.

I think I'll finally consider buying the rest of the Mai-Hime/Otome stuff too.

Also picking up Wolf's Children ofcourse.

Yay for Cowboy Bebop, and Outlaw Star Very Happy

I already have Escaflowne, but yay for that too--hopefully more people will be able to get into that. Haven't seen the movie yet, though.

Huh.... that's pretty awesome. Maybe a tad upset that I bought the complete collections of Cowboy Bebop and Escaflowne (the latter of which was a blind-buy!) earlier this year, even if those two sets only cost me $50-60 altogether. I wonder if there will also be any of those special features Bandai Visual put on their DVDs...

and revealed that Wolf Children will ship on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on November 12.

Is that as a combo pack (which Funimation often does) or two separate SKUs?

I think they announced a BD/DVD combo and then a stand alone DVD set. Unless Rojas was just stuttering during that info bit of the panel.

It'll be interesting to see if Funi or Sentai put these Bandai rescues on digital download services like iTunes or Amazon Instant Video. They seem to do that with most of the stuff they dub (and I was very surprised to see a sub-only Attack on Titan on iTunes recently… didn't think iTunes took subtitled stuff)

Will we have to wait for the new year for all of these shows?

Is it at all possible to "win" at anime licensing? Because as of today, FUNimation has done precisely that.

Second the poster who mentioned Bepop needs the Lain treatment. Would be great if they could include a soundtrack CD as well, though I suppose licensing could be an issue.

Bebop is a major money-maker. A soundtrack CD would definitely move units.

Nailed it _V_.

I can see Funi (and Sentai) will be continuing to bleed my wallet dry. Smile

I'd certainly pay extra for that!

Now that you can buy the Bebop soundtracks from iTunes ( https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/cowboy-bebop-original-soundtrack/id489780131 ), it's a pretty good bet this won't be available as a freebie.

Not that I'm complaining: $12 from iTunes is better than the $30 I paid back when conventions had CD sellers.
