Excellent, I've heard that the fourth season is better than the third, so I'll probably get these as they come out in hopes that the releases won't be cancelled or anything. My only regret is that I have the collections for 1, Z, and A, and will have singles for AA and X. Ah well. I'm still on the fence about Rune though. Maybe that'll be a "rent it" case.

I ended up getting the bricks for 1, Z, and A (another blind purchase) since they cost around $20 per season! Bandai bricks are so inexpensive when they are on sale. While I'm not too impressed with the first few episodes so far the series seems mildly amusing and worth the bargain price. I paid under $70 for all three series as opposed to $170 for GA Rune which I would not pay for even if I liked the series. I'm glad BE got the rights instead of BV.

The show doesn't really pick up until Z, but the first had it's moments. That is, if you like the episodic plotless comedy shows that you can literally watch in any order.
Galaxy Angel is quite possibly my favorite anime series, and I'm glad to get the show in any R1 format, as I already have the first series with LE box dealie and singles, Z in singles, and the A box. The inconsistency in releases doesn't bother me, as long as I get to finish the show. I already have enough shows that ended on me without R1 completion (Saint Seiya, Sailor Moon). Throwing money at these shows is my way of saying thanks.
As for Galaxy Angel Rune, as much as I am against the pricing scheme for the show, the lack of a dub doesn't bother me as much as some others. Knowing me, however, I'm going to buy the show anyways, because I'm a sucker.

I actually thought that some of the more touching moments of the series really only happened in the first season; after that, it was more about the comedy and the weird random scenarios.
...
Damn, was some of the stuff in the 3rd season evil.

I wish the prices werent so high for each series... but I am not gonna complain (too much - I bought a lot of the individual discs and am missing like the last ones in a few of the limited sets, so I kinda dont wanna buy the thinpacks, but I cant find the older discs anymore). But this is great news - I love Galaxy Angel!
