Blue Box Manga Goes on 1-Issue Break on June 2

The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the Blue Box (Ao no Hako) franchise announced on Monday that the manga will take a one-issue break in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine's 27th issue on June 2, and will return in the magazine's 28th issue, which will publish on June 9.

Shueisha's MANGA Plus service publishes the manga in English digitally, and Viz Media also publishes the manga digitally and in print.

Miura first published the story as a one-shot manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2020. The magazine started the manga's serialization in April 2021. Shueisha will publish the manga's 21st compiled book volume on July 4.

The anime adaptation's first season premiered in Japan on October 3, and on Netflix on October 4 (Japan time). The first season aired for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year).

The anime is getting a second season.
