Voice Actor Nobunaga Shimazaki Is Now a Dad

Nobunaga Shimazaki, voice of the 2019 Fruits Basket's Yuki Sōma, announced the birth of his first child on Sunday. The voice actor stated, “I am happy to announce a new life has been born.”

Thanks to the support of everyone who has been supporting me, Nobunaga Shimazaki, I am able to face my roles every day as an actor.
I will continue to give my all for my performances for you. I hope you will continue to watch over me.
As of press time, Shimazaki post received over 1,500 replies, most of which are congratulations from his fans and colleagues. Notably, fellow Fruits Basket (2019) castmate Satomi Satō (voice of Saki Hanajima). Sato congratulated Shimazaki and wished, “You and your family will continue to spend many happy, healthy days together.”
Shimazaki has appeared in Date A Live as Shido Itsuka, Nobunagun as Mahatma Gandhi/Maheshi Mirza, Sakamoto Days as Shin Asakura, among others. His agency lists his full résumé.
