Rei Taki's 'Hōkago, Boku wa Kimi ni Naru' Manga Ends

Kodansha's Magazine Pocket service published on Tuesday the final chapter of Rei Taki's Hōkago, Boku wa Kimi ni Naru (After School I'll Be You) manga. 

The manga's story centers on Akiba, a second year high school student who secretly does cosplay in the school's English club room. One day, while cosplaying as his favorite idol in the club room, Akiba's beautiful classmate Shibuya sees him. A secret relationship starts between the two polar opposites.

The manga launched on Magazine Pocket in June 2024. Kodansha published the manga's first compiled book volume in September 2024, and the third volume on April 9. 

Taki launched the Last Gender (Last Gender: Nanimono demo nai Watashi-tachi) manga on Kodansha's Comic Days website in February 2021, and ended it in April 2022. Kodansha published the manga's third and final volume digitally in May 2022. Kodansha USA Publishing licensed the manga, and released the third and final volume in June 2023.

Taki launched the Love-kyo: Kateikyōshi ga xx Sugite Benkyō Dokoro janai (Love Teaching ~My Private Tutor is So Sexy I Can't Study~) manga in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge in December 2020, and ended it in February 2023. Kodansha published the manga's fourth and final compiled book volume in May that same year.

Tetsu Tsutsui and Taki launched their Tada Ōki na Neko ni Naritai (I Just Want to Turn Into a Big Cat) manga on Kodansha's Morning two online magazine in September 2023. The manga ended in December 2024 and Kodansha published the third and final volume on February 21.
