The official website for the Brave Witches spinoff television anime revealed on Thursday that the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX and other channels on October 5 at 1:35 a.m. The site also revealed the title of Yoko Ishida's opening theme song for the series as "Ashita no Tsubasa" (Wings of Tomorrow).

The new anime series will center on the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing "Brave Witches," unlike the earlier anime's focus on the 501st Joint Fighter Wing "Strike Witches." The anime will premiere this fall.

The cast includes:

Takaaki Suzuki is returning from the Strike Witches television anime series, original video anime, and film to serve as military history adviser and is in charge of world setting. Hiroyuki Terao is returning to provide mechanical designs. Tomohiro Yoshida is again serving as sound director at Glovision. Seikou Nagaoka is returning to compose the music, and Nippon Columbia is producing the music.

Kazuhiro Takamura is returning from Strike Witches to direct the Brave Witches anime. SILVER LINK is also returning from Strike Witches: Operation Victory Arrow to animate the series. Striker Unit is credited with series composition, while Humikane Shimada is credited with the original character designs (which Takamura is adapting for animation). Tsuyoshi Kikuchi and Daijō Kudō are planning the project.
