Persona 5: Stars and Ours Anime Special Airs on March 23

The official website for PERSONA 5 the Animation revealed on Friday that the anime's second special, titled PERSONA 5 the Animation: Stars and Ours, will air on March 23. The special will air on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV at 8:00 p.m., and the special will also air within the next few days on MBS, AT-X, and BS11.
The first special, PERSONA 5 the Animation: Dark Sun, aired on December 30 and revealed the second special. Crunchyroll is streaming the first special.
The 26-episode television anime series based on Atlus' Persona 5 role-playing game premiered on April 7 and aired through September. Aniplex of America streamed the series on Crunchyroll and Hulu as it aired. The anime's 11th home video release, which will ship on May 29 in Japan, will include both PERSONA 5 the Animation: Dark Sun and an unaired episode.
Masashi Ishihama (From the New World, Kamichu!) directed PERSONA 5 the Animation, and the game franchise's producer Katsura Hashino is credited with the original story concept. Satomi Ishikawa (Convenience Store Boy Friends) adapted Shigenori Soejima's original game character designs for animation. Kazuma Kaneko is credited for having drawn the original demon designs from the game. Shinichi Inotsume (Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers-, Hayate the Combat Butler, Sket Dance) was in charge of the series scripts. Shoji Meguro returned from the game to compose the anime's music. Lyn performed both opening theme songs and both ending theme songs.
