Fourth Gundam Cafe to Have 1/1 MS-06 Zaku II Head

Just in time for the holidays, AEON Mall Makuhari New City Center will open its doors on December 20. Inside will be a new official Gundam cafe, complete with a lifesize, 1/1 scale MS-06 Zaku II head, which is slated to open the same day.
This new Gundam cafe is the fourth one opened by Bandai (the other three are in Akihabara, Odaiba, and Tokyo Station), and will have a higher focus on the Zeon side. While there are no details available yet, the cafe will draw inspiration from characters like Char Aznable, Ramba Ral, and M'Quve, as well as mobile suits like the Dom, the Zaku, the Gouf, and the Musai carrier. With the giant Zaku II head, which measures 3.4 m wide, 3.9 m deep, and 2.5 m tall (11.2' x 12.8' x 8.2'), it's off to a good start.
The menu will include themed food and drink items, including the signature South American-blend "Jaburo coffee" available at the other Gundam cafes. In Gundam, Jaburo served as the headquarters of the Earth Federation Forces during the One Year War, and was located in South America.
By the way, for those planning a trip to Makuhari, the mall will also be the home of "Toei Hero World: Namco Action Museum" a museum dedicated to various tokusatsu properties.
