Sailor Moon Breathing Masks Hit the Market, Among Slew of New Official Products

New Sailor Moon breathing masks have been recently made available in Japan. These masks will help protect anyone from colds or contagious illnesses while on the go. Two colors are available; Sailor Ribbon Pink shows off a pattern of Sailor Moon's ribbon. Moon Night Purple shows off her feline companion, Luna. Available at several retail stores, these masks go for 380 yen (about US$3).
These masks are part several new Sailor Moon products being released.
Among them are special iPhone double plug charms.
Coming as the Crystal Star Compact and the Cosmic Heart Compact (two of Usagi's transformation devices) as well as a Luna and Artemis design, these charms can plug into both the headphone jack and the plug-in for most Apple products. These include the iPhone 5/5S, the iPhone 6/6S, and varying models of the iPod touch and iPod nano. These charms are available at Gourmandise for 1,480 yen each (US$12.34).
Japanese convenience mart Ministop is also collaborating with Sailor Moon Crystal. Starting November 1, shoppers will have the chance to enter a special store lottery where they may receive the grand prize of special designed clear files.
Four clear files will be up for grabs, two being available at the start of the campaign and the other two coming out on November 9.
Other prizes include a tote bag and special bottle holders.
The Sailor Moon train doesn't stop there. New Gashapon items will soon be available in the form of Sailor Moon water globes. Known as the "Crystal Power Orbs," these glittery collectibles represent special items in the show. These include the Spiral Heart Moon Rod used by Sailor Moon, the anime-only Stallion Rêve that housed Pegasus from Sailor Moon Super S, Sailor Pluto's Garnet Orb and the gems placed upon the Crystal Change Rods that belong to the inner Sailor Guardians. These will be available in various Gashapon vending machines.
