D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die's Swery65 Tours His Favorite Arcade, Gets Tipsy

Game director Hidetaka "Swery65" Suehiro (D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die, Deadly Premonition, Lord of Apocalypse, Ace Combat: Joint Assault) appeared on the French television program toco toco to introduce his favorite locations around Osaka. The video opens with Swery65 heading to Ko-hatsu, an arcade located in Tenjinbashi-suji where some of his early fighting games are still being played almost 20 years later.
He then heads to some of his favorite bars and maybe has a couple of extra drinks. Swery65 is a regular at Osaka's Owl's Nest bar where he's visited for at least 10 years.
The game director announced last month that he is taking a break from game development due to hypoglycemia. His also notes his penchant for drinking in his blog post, stating "I'll keep checking my SNS accounts as much as I can, so I hope to keep seeing you all here whenever I return. So don't get mad if I go #DrinKING".
toco toco also interviewed award-winning anime art director Shichirō Kobayashi, veteran animator Manabu Oohashi, and Urotsukidoji creator Toshio Maeda.
