Sanrio Characters Fantasy Theater Casts Kirimi-chan as Mermaid, White Rabbit, Mercury

Sanrio's singing salmon-fillet mascot has transformed into a magical girl and garnered fans from collectors to voice actors.
Sanrio's upcoming puzzle game app Sanrio Characters Fantasy Theater casts the company's stable of mascots as familiar fairy tale characters. Kirimi-chan is returning to the sea in the game as The Little Mermaid where she might woo Prince Cinnamoroll and transform into a human girl with the help of Kamaboko-chan (molded fish paste).

Ever the versatile thespian, Kirimi-chan also ditches the fin to appear as the White Rabbit to lead mocha down the rabbit hole in Alice in Wonderland and dons laurels as Mercury in the reenactment of the fable The Honest Woodsman alongside Hana-Maru.
