Sailor Moon's Kotono Mitsuishi Narrates Wonder Woman Trailer

What does Kotono Mitsuishi and Gal Gadot have in common? Both actresses also play the roles of two of the most iconic super heroines: Sailor Moon and Wonder Woman. Mitsuishi has voiced her magical girl counterpart for 25 years while Gadot is new to the scene. As a sort of informal baton passing, Mitsuishi narrates the Japanese trailer for Wonder Woman, slated to open in Japan on August 25.
In the film, American pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) washes up on the shore of an island inhabited by Amazons. He meets Princess Diana (Gal Gadot) and informs her of World War I taking place outside her sanctuary. Diana chooses to leave with Steve and protect the world.
Wonder Woman opens in North American theaters on June 2.
