Players Face Walpurgisnacht in New Madoka Magica Real Escape Game

Following the title the upcoming film, staff are planning a new Madoka Magica real escape game for six cities in Japan.
Players will take on the role of students at Mitakihara Middle School who are rescued by Madoka after wandering into a Witch's Labyrinth. The players must then gather information about the witches for Madoka and take on a "command center"-like role to help her defeat the "Sweet Witch" (Charlotte) and the most fearsome witch Walpurgis.
The "Escape from Walpurgisnacht" (Warupurugis no Yoru kara no Dasshutsu) real escape game will open on December 2 at the Real Escape Game location in Harajuku. Subsequent locations include Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Yokohama. The game can be played solo or with up to four people.
The Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary with a commemorative exhibition. The Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie: Walpurgisnacht: Rising- film, the sequel to Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3: Rebellion, will feature a returning staff from the original anime series and films, including original creators Magica Quartet, chief director Akiyuki Simbo, scriptwriter Gen Urobuchi of Nitroplus, and original character designer Ume Aoki. Staff have not yet announced the movie's release date.
