Website Removed Re: Cutie Honey, Citing "License"

posted on by Egan Loo
AnimeOnDVD.com noted the removal of the Re: Cutie Honey anime series from the Crunchyroll video-sharing website, reportedly because the title was "licensed by Funimation and removed at their request." ANN forum poster Apterous also noted the removal. When asked about Romeo X Juliet, the North American distributor Funimation told ANN that it takes action against unauthorized distribution on behalf of Gonzo. (Re: Cutie Honey is a Toei-Gainax title.)
