Holmes of Kyoto Manga Ends
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The "light, antique mystery" series revolves around a "spiteful," handsome Kyoto boy and a high school girl. The story is set at an antique shop in Kyoto's Teramachi Sanjō shopping district. High school girl Aoi Mashiro unexpectedly runs into Kiyotaka Yagashira, the son of the shop's owner, and ends up working part-time at the shop. Kiyotaka is called the "Holmes at Teramachi Sanjō," and he and Aoi solve odd cases brought to them by various clients.
Akizuki launched the manga in Futabasha's Monthly Action magazine in October 2017. The manga moved to Web Action in February 2024 after Monthly Action ceased publication. Futabasha published the manga's 14th compiled book volume on January 9. Crunchyroll once published the manga digitally.
Mochizuki launched the novel series with the first volume in April 2016, with illustrations by Yamauchi. The 22nd novel volume debuted on May 14. The novel series inspired a television anime that premiered in July 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan.
