On Monday November 4, MVM will release Arakawa Under the Bridge, with subtitles only. Originally broadcast in 2009, the TV anime is adapted from Hikaru Nakamura's gag comedy manga. An upper-class young man named Ko "Riku" Ichinomiya meets a beautiful homeless girl named Nino from the banks of Arakawa River, where many of Tokyo's most unusual residents live. There was also a live-action TV and film adaptation of the manga. MVM has acquired the anime sequel, Arakawa under the Bridge × Bridge.
Manga Entertainment will release the feature film Sengoku Basara: The Last Party on both Blu-ray (pictured) and DVD. The film was announced in 2010 after the final Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings 2 television episode, and it opened in Japan in June of 2011. Sengoku Basara: The Last Party continues the story after the fall of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, as Japan plunges into chaos and subordinate Ishida Mitsunari looks to seek revenge against Date Masamune.
NoteAnime Limited confirmed to ANN that its DVD edition of Cowboy Bebop is due on November 18. A message on the Anime Limited website in October gave its release as November 4, but this was an error.
