Second Blu-ray still on track for October 14.

Update - Anime Limited has confirmed the November 4 date was an error, and the DVD edition will in fact be released on November 18.

Anime Limited posted the message below on its facebook page, regarding the complete series DVD edition of Cowboy Bebop. (It does not affect the second part of the Blu-ray edition of the series, which is still on track for October 14.)

Due to an output quality issue picked up during the quality control review, the DVD collection of Cowboy Bebop is being delayed until November 4th. This issue is currently being amended - the box set disc number will increase to 6 in order to maintain the quality expected of this release.

I've attached a screenshot of the issue to illustrate this point. [See the link above for the screenshot.] While it greatly upsets us to delay this release, we simply cannot release the series in its current state. We apologise for the delay and hope you will enjoy the series in its full remastered glory when it arrives.

In subsequent comments, Anime Limited said, "Cost will not go up. We have to master two extra discs but we've decided to absorb this cost. We listed the set at a price and we'll honour that."
