Nippon Ichi Software began streaming a second promotional video for Makai Senki Disgaea 4 Return, the PlayStation Vita port of its 2011 Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten video game for the PlayStation 3. The video introduces the characters, hints at the new story arc that tells the past between Valvaorez and Artina, and quickly previews a new character named Nagi Clockwork, voiced by Maaya Uchida (Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, Gatchaman Crowds). Junji Majima narrates the video as his character, the Prinny.

Fuka voice actress Mimori Suzuko also introduced the promotional video in cosplay of her character:

The game stars:

The original Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten video game revolves around Valvatorez , a vampire demon who used to be extremely powerful and feared. However, due to a promise with a human not to drink human blood, he has been reduced to a Prinny Instructor in Hades, and now feeds off of sardines. Along with his werewolf servant Fenrich, he aims to overthrow Hades' government. Later on, he meets Fuka, a Prinny who was only given a Prinny hat due to shortages of Prinny hide, Emizel, the Netherworld President's spoiled son, and Vulcanus, a mysterious angel who has an eye for money.

Nippon Ichi Software America (NISA) released Makai Senki Disgaea 4 under the title Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten for the PlayStation 3 in North America and Europe in 2011, and also released the PS Vita port of Makai Senki Disgaea 3 (Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice) under the title Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention in 2012.

Disgaea 4 Return will ship in Japan on January 30 for 5,980 yen (about US$60). Those who preorder the game will receive with a CD containing the best vocal songs of Disgaea, including the opening and ending theme to Disgaea 4. Players who have save data from the Disgaea 3 Return PS Vita game will be able to unlock Lucile and Stella as playable characters.
