Sentai Filmworks Adds Tribe Cool Crew Anime

North American anime distributor Sentai Filmworks announced on Thursday that it has licensed the anime series Tribe Cool Crew. The company plans to release the series digitally and on home video.
The series premiered on September 28 and Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs in Japan.
Sentai Filmworks describes the story:
Haneru Tobitatsu is a junior high student who loves to dance. One day after class at a secret rehearsal space, Haneru meets Kanon Otosaki who is training to dance like him. The two of them experience the fun of having someone else to dance with for the first time and having someone to watch their own dance moves.
They will then engage in dance battles with various rivals, and come to understand what it really means to express and connect to people through dancing.

Masaya Fujimori (Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess) is directing the series, and Atsuhiro Tomioka (Blade & Soul, Pocket Monsters XY) is in charge of series composition. Yoshiaki Yanagida (Fairy Tail the Movie: Phoenix Priestess, Genshiken 2) is designing the characters. Professional dancer Yuuki Tanno will oversee the dance choreography in the series. Japanese Street Dancing Association is overseeing the series.
