Azito × Tatsunoko Legends Game Coming to Xbox One

Game developer Hamster began streaming a teaser video in September for an upcoming Xbox One game tentatively titled Azito × Tatsunoko Legends. Tatsunoko Productions is collaborating with Hamster on the game, and the video includes clips from several Tatsunoko anime such as Gatchaman, Yatterman, Casshan, and Speed Racer. The game will let players recruit characters and fight monsters from Tatsunoko anime.

The game is the latest entry in the Azito series of video games. The first Azito game was released in 1997 for the PlayStation, and its two sequels Azito 2 and Azito 3, were published by Banpresto for the PlayStation. Hamster published Azito 3D on the Nintendo 3DS in 2011. The games allow the player to construct elaborate underground bases, and fill them with traps, heroes, and giant robots to defend it against monsters that seek to destroy the base and its command room. Over time, resources can be expended to research and deploy more powerful weapons.
