Series based on Spray's game launched in November

The March issue of Libre Publishing's Monthly Magazine BExBOY announced on Friday that You Higuri's Gakuen Heaven: Double Scramble manga will end in the next issue. The magazine's April issue will go on sale in Japan on March 7.

The series debuted in the magazine in November, and it adapts SPRAY's Gakuen Heaven 2 ~Double Scramble!~ game. Higuri provides the art, and Spray is credited with the original story.

The game company released Gakuen Heaven 2 ~Double Scramble!~ for PC on July 11, and a PlayStation 3 and PS Vita port is slated to ship in Japan on April 23.

Higuri's first Gakuen Heaven manga, based on Spray's boys-love game of the same name, launched in 2004 and was published in a single compiled volume. Higuri also serialized several character-focused, spinoff Gakuen Heaven manga series. Tokyopop's Blu imprint published Gakuen Heaven, Gakuen Heaven: Nakajima, and Gakuen Heaven: Endou - Calling you. The anime series adaptation produced by Tokyo Kids aired in 2006 and Media Blasters released the series for North America in 2007.

Tokyopop also published Higuri's Gorgeous Carat and Gorgeous Carat: L'Esperanza manga. Digital Manga Publishing released Gorgeous Carat Galaxy, part of Higuri's Ludwig II manga; Del Rey published Higuri's Night Head Genesis manga; and CMX Manga published Higuri's Seimaden manga in North America. Go! Comi published the first 10 volumes of the Higuri's Cantarella series in North America, as well as her Angel's Coffin and CROWN series.

Higuri is currently serializing Princess Ledalia: Bara no Kaizoku (Princess Ledalia: The Rose Pirate) in Akita Shoten's Princess Gold magazine, and the first compiled volume shipped in Japan in June. Higuri's Babylonia no Shishi (The Lion of Babylonia) manga ended in June.
