Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2016 'Animation of the Year' Nominees Announced

Mr. Osomatsu, Your Lie in April, Shirobako, One-Punch Man, Anthem of the Heart, Boy & the Beast, Expelled from Paradise, Love Live! nominated
The Tokyo Anime Award Festival announced the nominees for its "Animation of the Year" awards on Wednesday. The nominees include:
Theatrical Animation Division
The Anthem of the Heart
The Boy and The Beast
Expelled from Paradise
Love Live! The School Idol MovieTelevision Animation Division
Mr. Osomatsu
Your Lie in April
Shirobako
One-Punch ManTo be eligible, the works had to have been screened in theaters or broadcast on television in Japan between November 1, 2014 and October 31, 2015. The Tokyo Anime Award Festival will screen all of these titles from March 18 to March 21, and the awards ceremony will be on March 21.
Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki's The Wind Rises won the film award at 2014's festival and Attack on Titan won the television award. Last year, Frozen and Ping Pong the Animation won these respective awards.
