M&C! Licenses Gal Sensation, Imprisoned Hearts Manga

Indonesian publisher M&C! announced on September 10 that it has licensed Haruka Mitsui's I've been in love after school (Hōkago, Koishita.), Akira Wao's Gal Sensation, and Hikaru Suruga's Imprisoned Hearts manga. It will begin releasing all three manga on October 3.

M&C! describes I've been in love after school:

Kao has never stood out in school. One day, Kao's older brother, an alumnus and advisor for her school's volleyball team, ordered Kao to forcibly recruit a student named Nagisa Kuse into the team. If she can't do it, then she will forever be the volleyball team's manager. But when they finally meet, Kuse completely ignored Kao! What will she do?

Mitsui launched the manga in Kodansha's Dessert magazine in June 2017. Kodansha published the manga's third compiled book volume on March 13, and will publish the fourth volume on October 12.

M&C! previously published both volumes of I Kissed You Just Now (Atashi Kiss Shita) manga.

M&C! describes Gal Sensation:

Upon entering high school, Miyuu is assigned to class 1-5, the class for troubled children, which makes her less than enthusiastic. It doesn't help that a lazy woman becomes her class' homeroom teacher. She puts on makeup during class, and even skips sometimes to go to the nail salon! And yet, class 1-5's sessions become more and more exciting.

Wao launched the manga in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine in December 2015, and ended in 2016. Shogakukan published the manga's one compiled book volume in September 2016.

M&C! previously published Wao's Beautiful Knight (Bijo de Knight!) and Cute Twinkly Collection (Tinker Collection) manga.

Wao's Hime Gal Paradise manga previously inspired nine OVA anime episodes all bundled with issues of Ciao from 2011 to 2012. Hime Gal Paradise ended in October 2012.

M&C! describes Imprisoned Hearts:

Muga was tormented by a life of suffering.

In his moment of final despair, when he almost ended his own life, he discovers that all the pain in his life has been programmed.

He is a special prisoner with an unlimited sentence!

The manga, Suruga's first original work, began in Kodansha's ARIA magazine in October 2015, and ended the manga in March 2017. Kodansha published the manga's third and final compiled book volume in June 2017.

Suruga drew the Attack on Titan: No Regrets prequel manga with scripts by Gun Snark from 2013 to 2014. The manga inspired a two-episode OVA that bundled with volumes of Hajime Isayama's original Attack on Titan manga.
