Peace Maker's Nanae Chrono Designs Fantasy Crime TV Anime Tokunana

A website opened on Wednesday to announce Keishichō Tokumu-bu Tokushu Kyōaku-han Taisaku-Shitsu Dai-Nana-ka -Tokunana- (Special Crime Investigation Unit Special 7 or literally, Metropolitan Police Department Special Division Heinous Crime Investigation Unit Special 7: Tokunana), an original television anime premiering this fall.
Set in a different Tokyo on a different world than ours, the story follows Tokunana, a unit of assembled misfits in the Metropolitan Police Department. Tokunana battles against "Nine" — an organization commiting crimes in their zealous worship of the dragons that once roamed the world.

Kenjiro Tsuda as Shiori "Charisma" Ichinose
Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kujaku "Analyzer" Nijō
The other characters include:
Bellemer "Ninja" Cinq
Rokusuke "Sniper" Endō
Sakon Zeroemon "Boss" Kiryūin
Note: Similar to Gundam Wing, the characters all have wordplay for numbers in their names.
Harume Kosaka (Sailor Moon technical director) is directing the anime with chief director Takayuki Kuriyama (Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion), and Yuichiro Higashide (Fate/Apocrypha) is in charge of the series scripts. Hiroya Iijima (Mazinger Z: Infinity) is adapting the original character designs by manga creator Nanae Chrono (Peace Maker) for animation.
