Voice actresses to play Otama, Okiku

This year's 33rd issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed two more cast members on Saturday who are joining the One Piece anime for the show's "Wano Kuni" arc.

The new cast includes:

Megumi Han (Hunter × Hunter's Gon) as Otama

Mariya Ise (Hunter × Hunter's Killua) as Okiku

Voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki has also joined the cast as the character Komurasaki. The anime's "Wano Kuni" arc premiered on July 7.

Hiroshi Kitadani has returned to the One Piece anime to perform the show's new opening theme song "Over the Top." Shouko Fujibayashi wrote the lyrics, Kōhei Tanaka composed the song, and Takayuki Negishi arranged the song. The new theme song also debuted on July 7.

The anime has a new series director and character designer with the new arc. Tatsuya Nagamine (One Piece Film Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball Super: Broly) is the new series director, and Midori Matsuda (chief animation director for One Piece Episode of East Blue: Luffy to 4-nin no Nakama no Daibōken, animation director for One Piece Film Gold) is the new character designer.

The One Piece anime entered the new "Reverie" arc in April, after finishing the "Whole Cake Island" arc that premiered in April 2017.

One Piece is getting a new film in the franchise titled One Piece Stampede on August 9 to commemorate the TV anime's 20th anniversary.
