Muse Vietnam revealed on Thursday that it will add the This Art Club Has a Problem! (Kono Bijutsu-bu niwa Mondai ga Aru!) television anime, beginning with the first episode on Friday at 7:00 p.m. GMT +7, with a new episode every day.

The anime is based on Imigimuru's manga of the same name. The show focuses on an art club in a certain middle school, and its members: Subaru Uchimaki, who is a genius at drawing faces, but only wants to draw the perfect 2D wife; Colette, a rich troublemaker who never stops making mischief; and the club president, who sleeps through sessions and collects sleeping aids. Mizuki Usami is the only person in the club who wants to do art club-like activities, and constantly struggles to do so.

The anime premiered in Japan in July 2016. Animax Asia previously aired the anime.

Kei Oikawa (Outbreak Company, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!, Minami-ke: Okaeri) directed the series at studio feel. Naruhisa Arakawa (MAOYU, Outbreak Company, Kingdom) wrote and oversaw the scripts, Mai Otsuka (Non Non Biyori, Shakugan no Shana) designed the characters, and Satoshi Motoyama (Oreimo, Little Busters!, WATAMOTE) was the sound director. Kuniaki Masuda (Kiss×sis, So, I Can't Play H!) was the chief animation director.
