India Japan Laboratory Hosts Virtual Workshops by Yuji Nunokawa, Cygames, Keio University

The India Japan Laboratory at Keio University announced that it will host virtual workshops by The Founder of Studio Pierrot Yūji Nunokawa (Naruto, Fushigi Yugi), game developer Cygames, and the staff of Keio University from January 16 - 30 for its "Injan-Puliya" cultural exchange event. The event schedule includes:

• Online Lecture on Naruto by Mr. Yūji Nunokawa - January 16 at 11:00 a.m. IST - 1:00 p.m. IST
• Online Lecture by the illustrators of Cygames - January 23 at 11:00 a.m. IST - 1:00 p.m. IST
• Online Cultural exchanges through secondary creation at Keio University - January 30 at 11:00 a.m. IST - 1:00 p.m. IST

The workshops will take place on the Zoom video conferencing application. Participants can register for one or more workshops on the event's website and submit their own illustrations for review for the Cygames workshop.

India Japan Laboratory is also hosting Yoga workshops for Japanese participants as part of the Injan-Puliya event on February 5, February 12, and February 19.

India Japan Laboratory describes the Injan-Puliya initiative:

Injan-PULIYA is a cultural exchange group initiated by the India Japan Laboratory at Keio University, Japan. It is mainly created with a vision to stimulate a deeper and shared cultural understanding of Japan and India, and to enhance the collaborative efforts to ensure their long-term continuity into the future.

In general, a PULIYA (पूलिया) refers to a small bridge that connects the people in a village or community.

In the same lines, our group aims to carry out creative exchanges through facilitating industry-academia-government collaborations, so that the cultures of Japan and India can be layered as a small bridge, and can also become an engine for sustainable national prosperity (Injan).

Participants who complete the workshops can register as "Injan Ambassadors" and will have the opportunity to participate in future cultural exchange events and activities.
