Crunchyroll Adds English Dub of Sasaki and Miyano: Graduation Anime in India

Crunchyroll began streaming the English dub of Sasaki to Miyano: Sotsugyo-hen (Graduation Chapter), the anime film based on Shō Harusono's Sasaki and Miyano manga, in India on Friday. It began streaming the English dub of Lycoris Recoil: Friends are thieves of time., the six Lycoris Recoil anime short films, on Monday.

Sasaki to Miyano: Sotsugyo-hen premiered in Japan in February 2023. Crunchyroll began streaming the film in India in October 2023.

Shinji Ishihira returned to direct the film at Studio DEEN. Other returning staff members include Takahiro Ueno as assistant director, Yoshiko Nakamura as screenwriter, Maki Fujii as character designer, and Kana Shibue as composer.

The band Miracle Chimpanzee returned from the earlier television anime to perform the theme song "March."

The television anime adaptation of Harusono's Sasaki and Miyano manga premiered in January 2022 and aired for 12 episodes.

An OVA for the franchise shipped on DVD with the ninth volume of the main manga in July 2022. Harusono drafted the original anime episode, titled "Koi ni Kizuku Mae no Chotto Shita Hanashi." The episode is considered the 13th episode of the television anime series. Crunchyroll is streaming the episode.

Yen Press is releasing both Sasaki and Miyano and Hirano and Kagiura in English.

Lycoris Recoil: Friends are thieves of time. premiered on April 16.

The shorts center on the daily lives of the characters at Café LycoReco.

Here, the orders this café takes range from coffee and sweets to childcare, shopping, teaching Japanese to foreign students, etc. It's mostly tasks unbefitting of Lycoris.

The free-spirited and optimistic pacifist, Chisato. And the cool-headed and efficient Takina. The chaotic everyday lives of this mismatched duo begin!

The television anime was Shingo Adachi's directorial debut. Before this anime, Adachi was the character designer and chief animation director for Sword Art Online and Wagnaria!! (Working!!). Imigimuru (This Art Club Has a Problem!, Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) designed the characters for the television anime, and A-1 Pictures produced the project. Ben-To author Asaura drafted the story. Kimika Onai (Nogizaka46, Sakurazaka46 outfits) designed the characters' uniforms.
