Kiita Komagine, Taisuke Niihara return as main leads

The live-action series of Hiroko Natsuno's At 25:00, in Akasaka (25-Ji, Akasaka de) boys-love manga will return with Season 2 this October. Kiita Komagine (left in the photo below) and Taisuke Niihara reprise their lead roles as Asami Hayama and Yuki Shirasaki, respectively.

In the new season, an incident occurs that causes trouble in Hayama and Shirasaki's relationship. The season will cover the popular "stage production arc" from the manga.

Yuka Yasukawa (live-action My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999), Shinju Funabiki (live-action My Personal Weatherman), and Takashi Haga (Me & My Brother's Mistress) are the new directors for the season. Miho Aotsuka and Kumiko Asō (live-action Rent-A-Girlfriend) are returning to write the scripts. TV Tokyo and other channels will air the season, and it will also stream on GagaOOLala, as well as on U-NEXT and Net mo TV Tokyo in Japan.

Yuki Shirasaki finally landed his big break. But the pressure is on when he's cast alongside current superstar (and his former classmate!) Asami Hayama. Determined to do his best, Shirasaki decides to dive deep into researching playing the role of a gay man and visits a gay bar for a one-night stand. To his surprise, Hayama is there and gives Shirasaki the shock of his life by suggesting they become friends with benefits! Can Shirasaki keep his attention on the role, or will he be captivated by Hayama's good looks and irresistible charm?

The other cast members of the first season included:
