Shin chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India Film Releases in Indian Theaters on September 26

The account also announced an event celebrating the release on Wednesday that will take place at PVR Cinemas, Infinity Mall Andheri on July 10. The event will allow entry on a first come, first served basis and the reception starts at 3:45 p.m. IST. The event will feature a Shin chan mascot and dancers, but will not screen the film.
The previous Indian release window for the film was in October 2025.
The film will open in Japanese theaters on August 8.
The film will be the 32nd 2D animated film in the Crayon Shin-chan series. The "series' first dance entertainment movie" will take place in India, the first time a film in the franchise will take place in the country. (The franchise is very popular in India.) Shinnosuke and the members of the Kasukabe Defense Force dance in the film.
Kento Kaku (live-action Clover, live-action Like a Dragon: Yakuza, Gold Kingdom and Water Kingdom) will play Wolf, a dancing, singing Indian billionaire.
Masakazu Hashimoto, who has previously directed many films in the franchise including the 30th film Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden, is directing the new film. Kimiko Ueno (Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Mononoke Ninja Chinpūden, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Shinkon Ryokō Hurricane) is returning to the franchise to write the screenplay.
The 31st 2D animated film in the franchise, Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyōryū Nikki (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary), premiered in Japan on August 9. PVR Inox Pictures released the film on May 9 after it postponed the release from May 1. A premiere event for the film took place at PVR Cinemas, Inorbit Mall, Mumbai that also featured a Shin chan mascot.
