XSEED Games Announces New Executive Roles for Leadership Team

Founding Member Ken Berry Takes the Reins as President
and Kenji Hosoi Promoted to EVP;
Former President Shinichi Suzuki Steps into Executive Advisor Role

Torrance, CA – October 1, 2019 – XSEED Games, the independent-minded publishing brand of Marvelous USA, Inc., today announced that Ken Berry, the company's Executive VP, has been promoted to the title of President, CEO, and CFO, and will lead the company going forward. Former President, CEO, and CFO, Shinichi Suzuki is now taking a role as Executive Advisor, stepping down from his day-to-day responsibilities after seven years serving in the role as the company's top executive. Taking on Berry's previous role as Executive VP is Kenji Hosoi, who was formerly Vice President of Production.

Ken Berry is a founding member of XSEED Games with 15 years of experience overseeing all aspects of publishing at the company. He has been with the company since before it was incorporated and has filled a variety of roles in addition to his business responsibilities. Before joining XSEED Games, he worked at Square Enix through multiple incarnations. Throughout Berry's tenure, XSEED Games has built its portfolio and fanbase through critically acclaimed projects and the company's commitment to high quality localization.

A seasoned veteran, Kenji Hosoi has a long history with XSEED Games and has held various roles while successfully launching hit titles for the company. Hosoi takes over Berry's EVP role, where he will manage business development and partner relations. The new roles for Berry and Hosoi at the company, which has now grown to 22 employees, are effective immediately.
