Setsucon to Welcome Cosplay Group, Fake Idol Project in 2023

ALTOONA, PA – Setsucon is excited to announce that cosplay dance group, Fake Idol Project, will be appearing at Setsucon 2023. Setsucon is Pennsylvania's only annual winter anime convention, hosted by students and alumni of the Penn State Anime Organization. This upcoming convention will take place January 13th-15th, 2023 at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Fake Idol Project is a dance cover group with a focus on friendship. Fake Idol Project was founded in 2019 as a way for a group of friends to perform together on a stage, and their journey so far has brought them not only more ways to perform, but an entirely new way to bring people together. Fake Idol Project is particularly known for their boy idol group covers, from groups like IDOLiSH7, ŹOOĻ, and Quartet Night. However, they love doing any type of dance, and they are excited to continue growing as a group and as performers. On their social medias, you'll be able to find dance covers from a ton of different artists and genres. They pride themselves on their versatility, and always want to try new things. You can follow Fake Idol Project on most social medias @FakeIdolProject.

Further information about their performance time will be posted in January. More guests and events will be announced by Setsucon over the next several months, including more voice over guests, musical performers, cosplay judges, and guest panelists. Attendees looking to learn more about the convention can visit it on the web at www.setsucon.com, with badges available for pre-registration through January 15, 2023 as well as at-the-door.
