Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2.1.0 Feature Update Now Out

Celsys released the latest update of its illustration, comic, webtoon, and animation app, Clip Studio Paint Ver. 2.1.0, on July 27, bringing the intuitive Simple Mode interface to tablet devices. This Ver. 2.1.0 update gives monthly usage plan and update pass holders early access to the latest features that will be included in future versions.

Users can now switch to Simple Mode on tablets
The new Simple Mode allows users to more quickly switch between tools than in the previous Studio Mode, so users can focus on drawing.

Simple Mode includes a selection of tools to make digital drawing easy for everyone, from basic illustration tools to popular advanced features such as poseable 3D models, liquify, and smart color filling of closed areas.

On smartphone and tablet, users can switch between Simple Mode and Studio Mode at any time.

This update also includes recording of project work time, lighter timelapse file sizes, improved operability of 3D drawing figures, and a function to search for font names.
