OceanVeil Announces Streaming of Two Versions of Nukitashi The Animation

OceanVeil is proud to announce the upcoming streaming of Nukitashi the Animation, based on Qruppo's adult visual novel Nuki-Gee Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyuu (watashi) wa Dou Surya Ii Desuka?—translated as What's a Flat-Chested Girl Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game?, or simply Nukitashi.

As revealed on the anime's official X account (@Nukitashi_anime), the series will be released in three different versions. OceanVeil's platform will exclusively stream the “Seiran Island Version (青藍 島ver.)” and the “Fully Regulated Version (全面規制 ver.)”—with OceanVeil being the official platform offering these editions uncut, uncensored, and unedited for English-speaking audiences worldwide.

The story follows protagonist Junnosuke Tachibana, whose bold and provocative lines echo the mission of OceanVeil and WWWave's animation label, Deregula. Together, they aim to push back against increasing content restrictions and champion creative freedom in anime targeted at mature viewers.

Nukitashi the Animation joins a growing list of groundbreaking titles that challenge conventional broadcasting norms and advocate for less regulated, more authentic storytelling in adult anime.

The Story!
NUKITASHI, which first launched Qruppo's explosive popularity in the visual novel scene, follows the story of the anti-copulation resistance fighters of No Love No Sex in their fight to bring down the draconian Pervert Law and its sex-crazed proponents on Seiran Island. Equal parts eccentric, humorous, and action packed, NUKITASHI remains beloved and highly acclaimed among Japanese fans, and took home the prize for Best Scenario—as well as Best New Brand—in 2018's annual Moe Game Awards.
