Seven Seas Licenses 'Space Orc: Barbarian Raider of the Stars, Aiming for the Queen!' Light Novel Series (Airship Imprint)

(September 24, 2025) — Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisition of the light novel series Space Orc: Barbarian Raider of the Stars, Aiming for the Queen! by Kuruma Hino and Butcha-U. One orc is ready to take on the entire galaxy to win the heart of his beloved queen! A fun and flirty sci-fi adventure about an orc barbarian and his rampage across the universe. Featuring the manga artist of Might as Well Cheat: I Got Transported to Another World Where I Can Live My Wildest Dreams!—also available from Seven Seas.

In the far-off future, Earth's humans have finally expanded into the galaxy and opened up new possibilities. From genetic manipulation to the formation of clans, the universe is filled with opportunity. Which is precisely what orc barbarian Kurtz is counting on. Raised in the Ton-Tekin clan, a warrior tribe of orcs known for plundering, Kurtz has proven himself to be a worthy fighter. He's even been personally recognized by the beautiful queen, Malya, and earned the favor and affection of Princess Pika. Not bad for an orc of low birth.

But while universal fame and fortune are quite the allure, Kurtz has one desire above all else: he wants to make the beloved queen Malya his bride! Get ready to take to the stars and rampage across the galaxy!

Space Orc: Barbarian Raider of the Stars, Aiming for the Queen! (Light Novel) Vol. 1 will be printed for the first time in the English language in August 2026 for $15.99 USA / $20.99 CAN in single volume editions as part of Seven Seas' Airship imprint. Ebook editions will also be available on digital platforms.
