Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Gets Free Major Updates on November 19

CAPCOM announced on Wednesday that the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy game is getting a free major update on November 19. CAPCOM revealed in an update trailer video the new features such as Gallery Mode, Episode Selection, Scene Creator, and Story Mode. The update will also add the Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese languages.
CAPCOM released the game in Japan for PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in February 2019. The game launched in English for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) in April that same year.
The trilogy compiles the first three games in the Ace Attorney franchise. CAPCOM released the trilogy in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS in April 2014 and then released it in December 2014 in North America and Europe.
CAPCOM's Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy — a collection containing the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice games — launched in January 2024 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.
The first Ace Attorney anime series premiered in April 2016 and covered the first two games in the franchise. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan, and Funimation released the anime on home video. A second season premiered in October 2018 in Japan. Crunchyroll streamed the series with subtitles, and Funimation streamed a simuldub.
