Tani Yuuki Performs Doraemon Anime's 1st New Ending Theme Song in 20 Years

TV Asahi announced on Thursday that Tani Yuuki will perform a new ending theme song "Moshi Monogatari" for the Doraemon anime. This is the first new ending theme since the current iteration of the franchise began in 2005.

The new song replaces the first and current ending "Odore Dore Dora Doraemon Ondo" by Doraemon's voice actress Wasabi Mizuta.
The anime debuted its first opening theme song in five years in November 2024 with Mao's "Yume wo Kanaete Doraemon" song.
The manga creator duo Fujiko Fujio debuted their famous Doraemon robot cat manga in 1969. The manga inspired three television anime series that have collectively lasted over four decades, television specials, and yearly anime films. The third series debuted in April 2005 with a new main voice cast.
The 45th 2D anime film (not counting the 3D CG Stand By Me Doraemon films) Doraemon film, Eiga Doraemon: Shin Nobita no Kaitei Kiganjō (Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil), opens in Japan in 2026. The new film remakes the classic 1983 film Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil.
Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Esekai Monogatari (Doraemon: Nobita's Art World Tales), the 44th film in the Doraemon franchise, opened in Japan on March 7.
