The Ride-On King Manga Ends in Next Chapter

This year's November issue of Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine revealed on Friday that Yasushi Baba's The Ride-On King manga will end in the magazine's next issue on October 24.

Baba launched The Ride-On King in Monthly Shonen Sirius in May 2018. Kodansha published the manga's 15th compiled book volume on June 9.

The manga's story centers on Alexander Plutinov, the president for life of the country of Prusia, a country ruled by violence and the influence of its government. Alexander always desires to be dominant, and "ride" things, whether literally or figuratively. Now that he has already ridden his country, his next target is a fantasy world that has orcs, wyverns, and centaurs.

Defunct publisher Sol Press had licensed the manga. The company only released the first volume in July 2019.

Baba ended his Golosseum manga in December 2017. Kodansha USA Publishing licensed the manga for North America.
