Wow? Really forums? Just because you guys don't like it, doesn't make it bad. For a harem anime it's actually REALLY good for the fact that it has a freaking conclusion at all. The fact that it's the BEST conclusion makes it even better. I can't afford too much anime in one year but I'd seriously consider this one just to make me feel better when I read stories about people cheating.

Seriously though, don't call each other names just because you have different tastes. Respecting each other is one of the main basis of humanity. Then again...humanity IS in decline.

I liked School Days. I'll probably buy the DVD set, but I hope it comes with the TV and uncensored version of episode 12, as well as a toy boat.

Never thought this would get released on DVD. I am so looking forward to a chance to review it.

The main flaw of the series? While it takes some very interestingly different (and in many senses realistic) angles on actual teen dating progressions, big chunks of it prior to the last episode are tediously boring. But then that last episode. . . that's the kind of viewing experience one doesn't easily forget.

Laughing That's for sure. Love it or hate it, School Days stands alone. There really is nothing else like it. I've never seen a show that was so completely one thing for 99.9% of its 12-eppie run become so spoiler[completely something else in its last five minutes.] Genius.

Damn. Now I'm even more morbidly curious about how good (or bad) School Days actually is.... one of these days I'll get to watching it...

Sad that every licensor's got to have one crappy fanservice show to pay the bills, but those are the breaks, I guess.

What?
No, Valentine Days OVA?

School Days is one of those anime that has a reputation of being both good and bad. spoiler[Good because it starts off as a love story, as an innocent crush and then the way it ends (moral and justice served, kind of). Bad because of everything in between and some people didn't like the ending because it didn't follow a stereotypical non-consequence ending.]

If you haven't seen it, you can take a gamble and watch it. It may traumatize you, it might be the best show ever for you (though I doubt it).

I'm surprised that School Days wasn't licensed before simply due to how infamous it is.

I didn't think Discotek could get more bro-tier after they licensed Mazinger Z. I know that a lot of people despise School Days for understandable reasons, but it truly is one of my favorite anime.

School Days is what would really happen if you tried to take the harem route.

I agree. A lot of stranger and more obscure titles have been picked up. I'm happy for the fans and hope it sells well for Discotek.
