I think i've heard about this, but i'm not sure. At least they proved me wrong and we're getting an actual anime block back on the air.

What do you mean? They've been showing anime on Monday nights at that time for a few years.

I mean, we only got "Monster" and another show on Ani-Monday for many years, and now we're getting three shows in one block.

I remember Descendents of Darkness, TOKKO, and Gundam 00. I didn't watch Monster but there might have been another besides those too.

That might've been before I checked out ani-monday. Because Gundam 00 wasn't there, and neither was DoD.

Pretty sure both Gundam 00 and Descendants of Darkness have been on Syfy more recently than Monster...

Shows that have aired on Ani-Monday(/Tuesday/soon-to-be-Thursday) include:

Noein
Macross Plus
Now and Then, Here and There
Virus Buster Serge
Street Fighter II V
TOKKO
Tactics
Descendants of Darkness
Requiem from the Darkness
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann
Monster
Mobile Suit Gundam 00
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season
Rave Master
Chrono Crusade

Plus movies/specials such as:

Karas
MD Geist
Vampire Wars
Psychic Wars
Sword for Truth
Ninja Scroll
Kai Doh Maru
Street Fighter Alpha
Street Fighter Alpha: Generations
Street Fighter II: The Movie
X
Read or Die
Appleseed
Highlander
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society
Black Jack
Dead Leaves

They weren't the only anime Sci Fi showed.

There's Also Vampire Hunter D , Robot Carnival , The Tenchi Movies , Project Ako , Gall Force , Soul Bianca , Roujin Z , Twilight of the Cockroaches and ESPECIALLY Akira. Though they showed those series in the 80's i doubt most people even remember that.
